Jotamastic 80 is a two component epoxy mastic primer, designed for carbon steel and aged coating surfaces. It is abrasion resistant, high solids, high build product. It is recommended for use on slightly corroded surfaces and on surfaces that have been painted recently, as it provides excellent adhesion to surfaces that have been previously painted with alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane, etc., paints without the need for sandblasting. It also exhibits high resistance to saltwater and various chemicals and meets the requirements for corrosion protection in industrial and marine applications. With a different comp B it can be applied at subzero temperatures.
Stir well before use. Apply and let dry in temperatures ranging from 10 to 40 °C. Available in winter(W) variant suitable for tempretures from -5 to 23 °C. Mix only the quantity to be used immediately. Store in temperatures ranging from 5 to 40 °C for 4 years. Protect from high temperatures.
